Introduction

I have 27 years experience in the field of psychiatry which includes providing opinions in civil and criminal litigation issues. My opinions are based mostly on direct clinical contact with defendants and inmates with substance dependence issues, prison inmates seeking appeals on their death sentence, juvenile and adult sex offenders facing civil committment, veterans with PTSD issues, petitioners for guardianships, nursing home residents, victims of sexual and violent crimes, workers compensation and disability claimants, employees seeking fitness for duty evaluations, vocational rehabilitation clients, parents seeking child custody in divorce cases, families whose loved ones have suffered wrongful deaths or personal injuries and defendants involved in competency and sanity litigation. I have provided expert testimony on almost all of these issues. I am known for providing professionally honest opinions, such that you may not agree with the opinions offered but will respect those given.
